Overview of multilingualism in Nuclos – interface language vs. data language and where they are configured.

For the internationalization of Nuclos, three aspects must be distinguished:
| Aspect | What | Term |
|---|---|---|
| Nuclos UI | language-specific menus, forms, dialogs of Nuclos itself | interface language |
| Nuclet UI | translation of nuclet content (BO names, layouts, state model …) | interface language |
| Data | maintain individual field content multilingually (e.g. article names) | data language |
Interface language and data language can be set separately: a foreign-language user usually also wants to see foreign-language data content – so Nuclos offers both settings independently.
Where to configure?
- Interface languages: via localization (from 4.2025) – incl. automatic translation.
- Data languages: via the data language administration.
