User
Manage user accounts – login, e-mail, super user, groups, password and account status.

Menu Administration → User. Users are the people who actually use the application.
Account and login
- User ID: login name for the login screen.
- E-mail address: should always be filled (e.g. for sending e-mails from this business object).
- Allow login with e-mail address?: allows login via e-mail as an alternative (user ID still works).
Rights
A user with the super user flag automatically gets all rights. Otherwise rights result from membership in one or more user groups – with several, the highest permission level applies.
Password
A password is set on creation (see security policies). With an SMTP server configured and a valid e-mail, the password can be sent automatically (the user name is not transmitted). With force password change the user must change it at the next login.
Status & log
| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Locked | the account is locked. |
| Valid until | date on which the account expires. |
| Login attempts | failed attempts since the last successful login. |
| Last login | time of the last login. |
| Password changed | time of the last self password change. |
