Account and password

Around your own account the app offers – depending on server settings – self-registration, account activation, changing your password and help with forgotten credentials.

Register a new account

If the server allows self-registration, the Register link on the login screen opens the form:

• username, first and last name, e-mail (with repeat),
• password (with repeat) – a server-side hint about password rules is shown if configured,
• consent to the privacy policy (mandatory).

After submitting, the server sends an activation e-mail; the account is inactive until activated.

Activate the account

Open the link from the activation e-mail and paste it (or the code it contains) into the activation code field – the Paste from clipboard button helps. After activation you can sign in normally.

Change password

In Settings under Change password: enter current password, new password and repeat. If biometric login is active, the stored password is updated automatically.

Password expired

If your password has expired, the app requires a password change right at sign-in before the session becomes usable.

Forgot username or password

Via Forgot login details? on the login screen:

• Forgot password – enter your username; the server sends an e-mail with a reset link.
• Forgot username – enter your e-mail address; the server sends the corresponding username.

Reset password (by code)

On the Reset password screen paste the reset link (or code) from the e-mail. Once the code is verified you set a new password – no old password or sign-in required.
