Detail form
Structure of the detail form: buttons, input elements, LOVs, subforms and status changes.

The detail form is used to view, edit and create records.
Buttons

Detail form toolbar.
- Create new record – empty form; Save checks rules (e.g. mandatory fields).
- Refresh – reloads; unsaved changes can be discarded.
- Clone – copies the record into a new object.
- Delete (logical) – orange bin: marked as deleted, still physically present.
- Delete permanently (physical) – red bin, separate right; not recoverable.
- First/previous/next/last record – navigate the result list.
Input and display elements
Depending on the data type, matching controls are available:
- Text field – text entry with a length limit.
- LOV (List of Values) – opens a search form via „…“; quick search with Enter (one hit → green blink, several → list, none → red blink).
- Dropdown/combo box – shows stored master data; open the object via the context menu.
- Date field – calendar or manual entry.
- Subform – any number of related objects; rows via New/Clone/Delete or drag & drop.
Subform changes are only saved when the whole record is saved. |
Status change

Status change via the dropdown list.
For objects with a status model, a dropdown shows the possible next states. A status change can trigger actions (mandatory checks, calculations, new objects) and depends on permissions. Show status history lists past changes with date and person.
