Reports and forms

Via Configuration → Report you create forms and reports that present a business object in printable form. The basis is usually a data source; you design them with Jaspersoft Studio (JasperReports).

Form vs. report

Form – printable representation of a single record (e.g. quote, invoice, delivery note).
Report – evaluation across many records (lists, statistics).

Workflow with Jaspersoft Studio

Create a data source in Nuclos and connect it in Jaspersoft Studio.
Design the template (.jrxml) – bands, fields, subreports, charts, barcodes/QR codes.
Upload the template to Nuclos and assign it to the business object/status; set the output file name.
