  • Create new record – empty form; Save checks rules (e.g. mandatory fields).
  • Refresh – reloads; unsaved changes can be discarded.
  • Clone – copies the record into a new object.
  • Delete (logical) – orange bin: marked as deleted, still physically present.
  • Delete permanently (physical) – red bin, separate right; not recoverable.
  • First/previous/next/last record – navigate the result list.

Input and display elements

Depending on the data type, matching controls are available:

  • Text field – text entry with a length limit.
  • LOV (List of Values) – opens a search form via „…“; quick search with Enter (one hit → green blink, several → list, none → red blink).
  • Dropdown/combo box – shows stored master data; open the object via the context menu.
  • Date field – calendar or manual entry.
  • Subform – any number of related objects; rows via New/Clone/Delete or drag & drop.

Note

Subform changes are only saved when the whole record is saved.

Status change

Status change via the dropdown list.

For objects with a status model, a dropdown shows the possible next states. A status change can trigger actions (mandatory checks, calculations, new objects) and depends on permissions. Show status history lists past changes with date and person.
