REFERENZ ADMINISTRATOR UPDATED: JUL 2026 APPLIES TO NUCLOS 4.2026.X
On this page
Menu Administration → Parameter (rich client) or gear → Parameter (web client). System parameters control the behaviour of the server and clients. They are grouped by area of use:
| Group | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Anonymous access & self-registration | anonymous user access, self-registration, double opt-in e-mails, valid user names. |
| Frontend | colors, thumbnail sizes, planning-board limits. |
| Web client | custom CSS, base URL, document title, mandatory-field marker, content disposition. |
| Business tests | rollback behaviour for automated business tests. |
| General | encryption, encodings, query/read timeouts, caching, code generator, e-mail/localization tuning, privacy cleanup, cluster messages, and more. |
| Nuclet parameters | per-nuclet settings such as Groovy-rule restrictions, classpath extensions, SQL config filters. |
When they take effect
Most parameters take effect after saving; some (e.g. client heap, font) only after a restart of the server or client. Version notes („from Nuclos …“) are given at each parameter.
Complete list
The exhaustive, per-parameter reference (names, descriptions, default values and version notes) is maintained in the German page Parameter. Parameter names are identical in both languages.
