2 CAMT: Feature scope
Feature scope – part of the CAMT Nuclet documentation (import and processing of CAMT.053/CAMT.054 bank statements (Cash Management)).
REFERENCE INTEGRATORS UPDATED: JUL 2026 APPLIES TO NUCLOS 4.2026.X
Feature scope
- The CAMT Nuclet can be used to import electronic bank statements (daily statements, CAMT.053 format) or SEPA collective bookings (collective booking file, CAMT.054 format).
- Currently the CAMT.053 and CAMT.054 formats are supported.
- The Import is done automatically and job-controlled; records are only imported if they have not already been read in before.
- Imported records consist of an object of type CAMT import with 1-n assigned bank transactions.
- During the import, matching reference objects (customer invoices, etc.) are automatically assigned to the bank transactions, if they exist.
- The Assignment is done if the remittance information of the bank transaction contains an identification feature (e.g. the invoice number) of the reference object.
- If several matching reference objects are present (e.g. because several invoices were settled with one payment), all these reference objects are assigned.
- With each assignment, the reference object goes through a three-stage check regarding a possible state change. It is checked:
- 1) whether an incoming payment exists – for the case that the reference object is marked to accept the first incoming payment as decisive (optional)
- 2) whether the amount shown in the reference object is covered by the sum of all incoming payments
- 3) whether a discounted amount in the reference object is covered by the sum of all incoming payments and the payment was made within the cash discount period (optional)
- If the check in one of the three cases mentioned above is successful, a State change performed on the reference object (e.g. from "open" to "paid"). In addition, the payment date can be set in the reference object.
- For each already imported record, matching references can also be searched for in the existing reference objects.
- This Search is done at the push of a button in the selected record. If matching references are found, the logic described above also applies here.
