hammer and wrench Trees in Nuclos (explorer tree)

Build hierarchical explorer trees – BO wizard, child nodes and publishing the workspace.

Auf dieser Seite

The explorer tree visualizes hierarchical data and simplifies navigation. Nuclos distinguishes two kinds of trees:

  1. trees created from a result list (search condition) – not yet supported in the web client and not delivered by the REST service;
  2. trees starting from a record – the common case (described here).

Steps

  1. Configure the levels in the BO wizard starting from the topmost entity.
  2. In the context menu Add child node, choose the dependent entities – make sure „reference field to root node“ is empty.
  3. Open the record and create the tree via Tools → Show in explorer; set the tab to Never close.
  4. Publish the workspace – the tree is then available.
