What are attribute groups?
Attribute groups bundle several attributes of a business object into a named group. Their main purpose: fine-grained permissions – read and write rights can be granted per user group and status.
Menu: Configuration → Other → Attribute group
Creating
In the attribute group screen you create the groups; the group field defines the name.

Assigning & authorising attributes
Attributes are assigned to a group in the BO wizard. Using the status model you then grant user-group- and status-dependent rights: a user group can be given read-only access or no access at all to a group's attributes for certain business objects (depending on the current status).
