The explorer tree visualizes hierarchical data and simplifies navigation. Nuclos distinguishes two kinds of trees:
- trees created from a result list (search condition) – not yet supported in the web client and not delivered by the REST service;
- trees starting from a record – the common case (described here).
Steps
- Configure the levels in the BO wizard starting from the topmost entity.
- In the context menu Add child node, choose the dependent entities – make sure „reference field to root node“ is empty.
- Open the record and create the tree via Tools → Show in explorer; set the tab to Never close.
- Publish the workspace – the tree is then available.
